How Did Chandrababu Have Advance Info About Demonetisation, Asks Botsa

In a stinging attack on Chandrababu Naidu, YSRCP senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana on Wednesday sought to know how the AP Chief Minister had prior knowledge of the demonetisation of the higher denomination notes. He said Chandrababu must have done everything to dispose of higher denomination notes before they were demonetised.

Talking to mediapersons on Wednesday, Botsa ridiculed Chandrababu's letters on demonetisation and his claims that he was the one who suggested demonetisation to Modi. He said Chandrababu is known for making such claims.

The YSRCP on Wednesday welcomed the decision to demonetise higher denomination currency. Botsa however, asked the Government to ensure that the common man was not affected by the demonetisation. He said the YSRCP was all for strong measures against black money.
