Dhoni was conferred with Padma Bhushan on Monday

The Chennai Super Kings celebrated captain MS Dhoni’s prestigious Padma Bhushan award in a special way. The team arranged a special cake, on which a photograph of MS Dhoni receiving the award from President Ramnath Kovind can be seen.

CSK’s team manager Russell Radhakrishnan took to Twitter to post a photo of the special cake. Russell’s tweet read, “A special cake for a special person @msdhoni from the CSK family #PadmaBhushanMSD.”

It is known that on Monday, MS Dhoni received India's third highest civilian award, the prestigious Padma Bhushan, from President Ram Nath Kovind. The former Indian captain was conferred with the honour on the ocassion of the seventh anniversary of India’s famous World Cup victory in 2011. Dhoni hit a monstrous six in the final against Sri Lanka, to hand India its second cricket World Cup trophy.
