House owners, thieves celebrate

In view of the festive season, an elderly house owners went to Chennai to celebrate. Sensing a locked house, thieves struck.

The incident occurred at plot number 203 in VBR Residency in Sumitra Nagar of Kukatpally on Saturday. On noticing open doors, neighbours alerted the police.

A police team inspected the house and noticing household articles thrown around they called the house owners in Chennai. A case has been registered but the amount of valuables stolen will not be known until the house owners arrive, police said.
