Hotel Worker Dies After Drunken Brawl With His Friend

Hyderabad: A hotel worker died in in an altercation with with his friend i the Old City area of Hyderabad on Tuesday night.

The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of Falaknuma police station. Juber (40), a resident of Pahadi Shareef area, was working in Jaitun hotel in Chandrayangutta. There was a rest room behind the hotel for workers. On Tuesday night, Juber boozed in the room along with his friend and later a quarrel started between them.

Juber's friend attacked him causing major injuries on Juber's head. He later died. On Wednesday morning, locals informed police of Juber's death. Accused absconded and the hunt is on to grab him. Police sent the body to the hospital for post-mortem.
