Is Jairam widening gap between TRS-Congress?

' Jairam behaving like a murderer , showering flowers on his victim's body'

The battle for Telangana is becoming murkier with various political leaders making points and counter points. After KCR refused to merge his party with Congress, both Congress and TRS leaders are trying to outdo each other in the war of words.

Both the parties are facing immense criticism for trying to claim credit for Telangana. Taking serious exception to Union Minister Jairam Ramesh's statements, a TRS senior leader said that the latter is trying to widen the gap between Congress-TRS.

"Jairam is behaving like a murderer who showers flowers on the dead body of his victim," TRS MLA, Harish Rao said.

Jairam's statement caused embarrassment to KCR who had made similar promises that the first Chief Minister of the state will be a Dalit, but started evading answering questions about the same after visiting Delhi. (Read Here)

Harish Rao came down heavily on Ramesh and told him to hold his tongue and not resort to criticising the Congress party. "Did they have time to visit Yadava Reddy's body who scarified his life for Telangana near the Parliament?," he asked.

He added that,"Didn't the Congress implicate TRS and TJAC leaders, just so that it can make them roam around the courts?"

On the other hand, Jairam announced that Congress is ready to offer tickets to TJAC leaders if they are willing to come forward. Talking on this, the TRS leader said that he has been attempting to widen the gap between the TJAC and TRS Party.

"Congress leaders have not responded to TJAC leaders' requests to participate in Telangana agitation. But now they are luring the TJAC leaders by offering party tickets. In the last bypoll elections, Congress tried to defeat the candidates who were supported by TJAC," he said.

He also said that Jairam was responsible for merging of high risk villages near Pollavaram project with Seemandhra. "Jairam was behind the AP Bhawan   going to Semandhra," he added.
