High voltage drama at Jalasoudha, agitators in police custody

High tension prevailed at Jalasoudha, office of Engineer-in-Chief Irrigation, with slogans and counter slogans of Employees from Seemandhra and Telangana.

Hundreds of employees from both the regions engaged in attack and counter attack through slogans.

At one stage, they pushed each other leading to tension among employees. When the situation turned tense, paramilitary forces also reached the spot to take charge of the situation. Police took into their custody a few employees from both the regions, who were making provocative statements. They were shifted to the Panjagutta police station.

Meanwhile, security has been tightened at the Secretariat in view of the continuing agitation.
