High Court Raps Telugu States Over Temples On Main Roads
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Thursday sought explanation from the two Telugu states for not adhering to the policy guidelines and allowing religious structures to come up at public places.
The bench of acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice A Shankar Narayana was dealing with a petition filed by Hyderabad HC advocate.
The case has been posted to November 15
The order of Supreme Court made it mandatory for the states to not allow such structures on main roads and also the guidelines prepared by the undivided Andhra Pradesh in 2010 was brought to notice by the petitioner.
