Hema Malini Gets Surprise Gift From Balakrishna On The Sets Of “Gautamiputra Satakarni”

Hyderabad: Bollywood’s yesteryear dream girl Hemamalini got an unexpected gift from Tollywood top actor Balakrishna for playing the role of his mother ‘Gautami’ in his upcoming “Gautamiputra Satakarni”.

Balaiah, who is playing the title role in his career’s 100th movie directed by Krish, presented a saree to Hemamalini on the sets of the film which is currently going on in Rajasthan. With this unexpected gift from the hero of the film, the veteran actress was quite surprised, said the close circles of Balaiah.

After considering heroines Kajal Aggarwal, Nayanthara, Trisha, and many others, actress Shriya Saran was signed on as the lead heroine opposite Balaiah.

Shriya Saran as the female lead pairing opposite Balakrishna for the second time, and music composed by Chirantan Bhatt. The film is based on life history of 2nd century CE, Satavahana ruler Gautamiputra Satakarni. The film is a prestigious project to Nandamuri Balakrishna as his 100th film and is scheduled for Sankranti release next January.
