Help line to prevent child marriages
During the Shivaratri festival, child marriages are rampant in Chittoor district particularly in 11 mandlas surrounding the famous Srikalahasti temple.
To put an end to the child marriages, the district administration had started a helpline number (08578-222276) on Saturday.
Anybody can call this number and report the child marriages in their areas.
