Heavy Rains Hit Hyderabad Again

Hyderabad: Heavy rains hit Hyderabad once again on Saturday evening resulting in inundation in Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Masab Tank, Attapur, Mehdipatnam, Nagarjuna Circle, Panjagutta and Ameerpet.

Scenes of overflowing drains, flooded main roads and inundated colonies came back to haunt the residents of the city. Several colonies were limping back to normalcy from the recent rains that the city witnessed for over a week.

According to a statement from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), a low area over the Bay of Bengal has formed which might result in moderate to heavy rains in the Telugu states.
