Heavy rain lashes Hyderabad

Sudden and heavy rains after a hot and sultry afternoon brought respite for Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Moderate to heavy rains were reported from several parts of the city. Soon, they became severe in some parts and turned into a hailstorm.
In places like Ameerpet, Begumpet, Nampalli and Kukatpalli, there was moderate to heavy rain, while there was hailstorm in Dilsukhnagar, Kothi and Malakpet areas. An advertisement hoarding fell down near secretariat.
In many low-lying areas, there was inundation. Hailstorm was also reported from Bobbili in Vizianagaram district.
