Heat wave effect: summer holidays advanced

In view of the soaring mercury levels and sweltering heat wave conditions, the Telangana Government has decided to advance the summer holidays from April 16 itself.


Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari said that the summer holidays would begin from April 16 and will last till June 12. Originally, the summer holidays were to start from April 23. He said the schools will re-open on June 13. He said stern action would be taken against those school managements that do not follow the summer holiday schedule.
