'Health for all by 2022'

Telangana's Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj K.Taraka Rama Rao said his government was committed to provide every help to anyone intending to set up medical college in the state.

He inaugurated Indo Global Healthcare Summit and Expo -2014 at Taj Krishna in Hyderabad on Friday. The representatives from 30 countries attended the meet.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said their government would try to increase the number of medical seats in the state.

He also announced that the government would take steps to upgrade the medical facilities in Telangana. The minister assured that priority would be accorded to pharma industry.

“We are working towards ensuring health for all in the state by 2022. Super specialty hospitals will be established in every districts,” said KTR.

KTR said that they would encourage medical tourism in Telangana.
