HC tells CBI to file counter on Jagan's bail plea - Sakshi Post

The AP High Court  on Monday ordered notices to CBI, on a bail petition filed by YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy, to file its counter before December 11.

Jaganmohan Reddy had filed a statutory petition in the High Court stating that he should be given  bail as it has been more than 90 days that he was arrested. The hearing of the petition was posted to December 11.

The High Court today rejected the bail petition of the former excise Minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana arrested in a case pertaining to Vanipic.

The court refused to grant bail on the grounds that if released he could tamper with the evidence and influence the witnesses.
