Hayathnagar College Lecturer Sexually Exploits Student

Hyderabad: A physics lecturer working in a junior college in Hayathnagar was booked for sexually exploiting an Intermediate girl student. Although, the incident occurred in December 6, last year, the girl narrated her ordeal with her parents only on Wednesday.

After listening to her horrific tale, the girl student's parents filed a complaint with the police. According to the police, the lecturer was identified as Tirupathi (30) and was working with Iqbalia Junior College at Hayathnagar.

The girl student accused him of blackmailing her and threatening to deduct marks in the practical examination. He further asked the girl to send her intimate pictures through WhatsApp, she alleged.

After the incident, the girl slipped into depression. However, she mustered the courage to inform the incident to her parents. Based on the parents complaint, a case has been registered and the police have launched manhunt to nab the accused. Meanwhile, the junior college management has suspended Tirupati from the job and has also initiated an inquiry.
