Haryana Rally: Boos for Hooda, yahoos for Modi

Kaithal (Haryana):  Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had to face booing and zeering crowds at a rally held Kaithal in the presence of  Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The crowd continuously booed throughout his speech at stone-laying ceremony of a national highway connecting Haryana with Rajasthan. To add insult to injury, the crowd chanted  "Modi Modi".
Coming as it does ahead of assembly elections in Haryana, this is seen as a significant pointer to the public mood. Hooda's speech was barely audible due to the din.
An upset Haryana CM blamed the BJP for the booing. "The BJP has violated all the rules. In future I will never share any stage with PM in future".
Scenes, however, were very different when Modi started his speech, crowd were continuously roaring. It was PM's first visit to Haryana ahead of polls.
BJP has won won all eight of the ten seats in Haryana in recently concluded election.
Union ministers Nitin Gadkari (Road Transport and Highways), Rao Inderjit Singh (Planning) and Krishan Pal Gujjar (Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways) along with Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki were also present.
