Harish Rao fires on ESCI’s inertness

Hyderabad:Minister for Irrigation, Marketing & Legislative Affairs for Telangana, T.Harish Rao expressed severe anger on ESCI over the dawdling delay of finalization of tenders for ennoble Palamuru-Etthipothala lift-irrigation project in a response to a story carried by ‘Sakshi’ on Saturday.

Harish Rao, in a review meeting held here in Hyderabad, enquired about the status of project’s survey, estimations and assessments, that had been taken by ESCI (Engineering Staff College of India) and expressed severe anger on the issuance of the tenders of the project. The Irrigation Minister ordered representatives of ESCI in this meeting ,in which R. Vidya Sagar Rao, Irrigation Advisor alongwith Pentareddy was also present, that the survey works and pending works of the project should be completed by the end of the October.

Later, Harish also reviewed on the Dindi project with, District Collector, directing officials to speed up the project works and tenders should be invited as fast as possible without delay by resolving problems related to land acquisition if any.
