Guntur: Inter girl evades kidnap attempt

It has been a Black Friday in Andhra Pradesh with two cases of rape and equal number of harassment cases already reported from various parts of the state.
An intermediate student escaped an abduction attempt. According to reports, some unidentified persons forced girl to consume drugs and attempted to kidnap her.
This incident took place at Gorantla in Guntur district. Two boys allegedly hatched a plot to kidnap the girl when she was her way to college.
The girl, however gave the boys a slip after she collapsed on the road, it is learnt. Localites shifted her to Gorantla government hospital.
It is learnt that the girl has turned down a boy's proposal a few days ago. And the kidnapping attempt was made by his friends.
In another incident, a teenage girl committed suicide after she was unable to withstand the eve teasing by a youth who insisted on loving her in Anakapalli in Visakha district.
