Guntur-bound Bus Stranded in Flood Waters

A bus carrying 40 passengers was stranded in flood water near Sri Chaitanya Arts College in Gudur mandal of Nellore district.
Passengers attempted to get off the bus but the river was in spate and the water current was high.
Attempts by passengers to call police and emergency services did not yield any result.
The bus was travelling from Tirupati to Guntur.
