Gujarat CM Offers Prayers At Srikalahasti

Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani and his family members had a darshan of Lord of Kalahasti in Chittoor district on Thursday.

The chief minister and his family members were welcomed by Andhra Pradesh Forest Minister Gopalakrishna Reddy and TTD board member Bhanuprakash Reddy. After a darshan, the Gujarat CM and his family members were blessed by Vedic pundits. Later, temple trust board members presented him with an image of the Lord and his consort.

Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Rupani said he was impressed by the sanctity and piety of the temple.

Covid cases rise in India; govt says monitoring the situation

New Delhi, May 31 (IANS) Amid the latest wave of Covid-19, the number of SARS-CoV2 infections in the country has risen to 2,170. As many as 511 new cases were recorded from the previous day, according to the latest update by the Health Ministry on Saturday. Meanwhile, 255 patients were discharged or migrated in the last 24 hours, indicating an improvement in recovery.
