Group-1 Mains examination postponed

Group-1 Mains examination which was to be held today has been postponed to September 16th. The AP Public Service Commission decided to postpone the exams because of the protests being staged by the Group-I candidates who complain of errors in the preliminary exam question papers.

Around 1200 students were declared qualified in the preliminary exam and were eligible to sit for the Mains. Now a revised merit list will be put up in lieu of the errors. However, it has not revealed the number of questions and marks that would be awarded in lieu of errors.

The exams will now be held from September 16 to 26.
