‘Greater’ cut in Property Tax

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao met the top officials of GHMC on Thursday and ordered that the roads that were damaged in the recent rains have to be repaired immediately. KCR has made it clear to the GHMC officials that the works must take off in the next 10 days and must be completed by the end of this month.

On the other hand, it is reportedly said that KCR has approved the proposal of reducing the property tax for the lower and middle class income groups and that the required work has to take off soon. According to the given proposal, those paying less that Rs. 1200 as property tax will only pay Rs. 101 if this comes into existence and close to 5 lakh people are said to be benefitted by it.
