Grand welcome for YS Jagan at Chilamathur - Sakshi Post

People from all walks of life jostled with one another to welcome YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Chilamathur village of Anantapur district on Sunday. The leaders and supporters of YSRCP welcomed their leader with flowers.

The YSRCP chief kickstarted his 'Raithu Bharosa Yatra' (Farmers Assurance Yatra) from Chilamathur  village to console the families of farmers who have committed suicide due to mounting debt burden in Anantapur. 

He was accorded a tumultuous welcome at the village. Thousands of people from surrounding villages gathered there to have a glimpse of YS Jagan.

As part of his yatra, the YSRCP chief called on the family members of Siddappa who had committed suicide due to debt burden at Mamidakulapalem. He spent more than half an hour with the family. YS Jagan assured them that he was like their elder brother and would stand by them at all times.  

He also assured the students of Chilamatturu, who had approached him with the deep problems they had to face, that he would bring pressure on the government to solve their issues. 

Jagan will console the families of 13 farmers who have committed suicide. According to schedule, he will visit Hindupuram on February 22, Puttaparthy on 23, Uravakonda on 24 and Guntakal constituencies on February 25 and 26
