Govt will not interfere: Minister Narayana
Andhra Pradesh Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development P.Narayana said that hiking of water charges and other taxes are the decisions to be made by respective municipal councils only and there would be no interference of the state government in the matter.
“We will establish an airport, tribal university and another university in Vijayanagaram district,” announced the minister.
He said that all the posts in various municipalities in the state would be filled soon.
“The union government has sanctioned the state an amount of Rs.50,000 crores for the development of various municipalities in the state,” said Narayana.
He said that they could not announce the exact date of loan waiver of farmers at this point of time.
