Govt should pay Rs 5000 compensation to each family
Leader of the Opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday demanded that Rs 5000 be paid in compensation to the families of cyclone affected areas from Srikakualm to East Godavari to provide immediate financial aid at this time of crisis.
YS Jagan is extensively touring the cyclone-hit areas in north Coastal districts on the Day VI of his tour.
He visited the houses which were damaged by the cyclone.
He demanded that the officials should take up relief and rehabilitation work immediately and should either repair the damaged houses or build new ones.
The YSRCP chief also demanded Rs 50,000 to the families whose houses were severely damaged during the landfall of Hudhud Cylcone .
YS Jagan toured Vuravakonda and several villages in Vizianagaram today. He he gave a patient hearing to the farmers who have poured their cup of woes and told him that there was no enumeration done so far and no officials has visited the area so far.
Stating that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was busy with TV appearances, YS Jagan assured the people that his party would mount pressure on the TDP Government to provide the needed relief and will take up the agitation path.
