Govt Official’s Driver Ends Life Over Currency Exchange

A driver of a Karnataka Government officer allegedly committed suicide after he was reportedly subjected to mental torture by his employer.
According to a tweet on ANI News Agency's Twitter handle, Ramesh Gowda came to know that his employer took 20 per cent commission to exchange demonetised currency notes belonging to former minister Gali Janardhan Reddy. Since then, he was subjected to mental torture, due to which he ended his life.
His suicide note claimed that Gali Janardhan Reddy has exchanged up to Rs 100 crore this way. The police are investigating and further details are awaited.
