Govt gives in to pressure, 'yes' to Samara Deeksha
After several rounds of discussions with the JAC leaders, the Andhra Pradesh government has granted permission for TJAC's 'Samara Deeksha'
The decision to grant permission was taken by Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy after Telangana protagonist and MLC, Chukka Ramaiah and Gaddar requested her.
This permission has come as a relief to TJAC chairman Kodandaram, who had staged a sit-in protest at the TJAC office this morning, demanding that the government grant permission for the deeksha.
The TJAC would be launching a 36-hour protest seeking separate statehood to Telangana at Indira Park on Sunday. The permission has been granted till Monday 6pm.
