Govt gives another jolt to Owaisi brothers
Even as the MIM leaders Akbaruddin Owaisi and his brother Asaduddin Owaisi, are making every effort to get cases filed against them dismissed, another shocker awaits them.
In a major blow to the Owaisi brothers, the government has withdrawn NOC on the lands next to the hospital of the Owaisis, it is learnt. The land is now government's property.
Perhaps MIM's refusal to support government has prompt the CM's move, insiders believe.
The 3 acre land adjoining the Owaisi hospital in Bandlaguda. Next to it is Midhani a central government firm. Sources say that 2.5 acres of the total land is in the name of unknown persons, who are reportedly close to Owaisi.
The NOC oo the land was given by the then collector of Hyderabad, Naveen Mittal. Although the government did not have any objections till now, the new order to take it in its hands has given rise to speculations. It is learnt that the new collector Gulzar after checking the land documents realised that it was an illegal possession thus signalling for seizure of the land.
With the NOC removed and the land declared a government property, the Owaisi brothers have landed themselves trouble. Would they keep mum or fight for the rights over the property? What will the MIM leaders' next move be? It's going to be wait and watch for now.
