Governor to review last minute decisions of Kiran? - Sakshi Post

If the words of the officials are to be taken into account, state governor E.S.L.Narasimhan has taken the decision to review the last minute decisions of former chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.

The first citizen of the state has apparently taken the decision to review the files Kiran signed in the last three months.

The same sources are saying that Kiran took some decisions by violating the norms and keeping aside the words of the officials in the last three months. Some of these decisions were related to land allocations.

Kiran has signed in some of the files related to industries, stamps and registrations and education department. As he has resigned from the post, the concerned officials did not issue the related GOs. They have kept aside these files.

One day before he resigned from the post, Kiran gave his nod for transferring about 600 teachers in the state. With the same reason (as Kiran resigned), the officials in the education department stopped issuing the related GOs. It is known that ‘Sakshi’ Telugu newspaper has published an item that transferring the teachers at the middle of the academic year will pose some kind of problems to the students.

In his last days in the post, Kiran took the decision of regularizing the services of about 800 contract resident teachers. He signed on the file eventhough the officials informed him that such a decision is a clear violation of the Constitution of India.

He also took the decision of extending the services of some officials in the Commissionerate of Enquiries.

Now, the governor is in the process of looking into the files which were signed by Kiran Kumar Reddy in his last minutes of power.
