Governor, CM in Tirupati to receive President

Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy took off to Tirupati from the Shamshabad Airport to receive President Pranab Mukherjee, who is visiting the state for the first time in his capacity as the First Citizen of the country.

The Governor, E.S.L. Narsimhan has already arrived in Renigunta airport, ahead of the CM.
On account of the heavy VVIP presence a tight security security blanket has been imposed on the temple-town. Policemen are manning the roads from Renigunta all the way to the Tirumala shrine to make sure the VVIP visits pass off smoothly.
