Girl’s Family Attempts to Kill Her Lover in Vijayawada

Vijayawada West: In a bizzare incident of honour killing, seven members of the family of a girl, one B.B Ayesha of Mangalagiri, have allegedly attempted to kill the family members of Karimulla, a resident of Hamid Street in Islampet, for allegedly having an affair with each other. It is learnt that the couple has reportedly eloped last month and returned on the 27 February, 2018. Karimulla is the youngest among three sons of Shaik Lal Ahmed.

The two families have reportedly quarelled with each other on this issue. Hence it has been decided that the couple would get married on 25 March, 2018. On Saturday night, relatives of Ayesha have attacked Karimulla's family in their shop and destroyed the property. They were threatened to be killed.

The police have arrested the accused and filed a case against them. The accused were identified as Shaik Ahmed, Khaza, Gouse, Munna, Babu, Shamibuddin and Saddam.
