Girl Undergoes Same-sex Marriage Thrice

Jammalamadugu: In a bizarre incident, a girl underwent same-sex marriage for a third time.

The girl, Ramadevi, married Mounika of the same area in Kadapa district. She even dressed-up as a boy for the marriage with Mounika. Relatives of Mounika, after they learned about the marriage, lodged a complaint with Jammalamadugu police. The police sent Mounika for medical examination and launched an investigation. On two earlier occasions, Ramadevi had married girls in a similar way, police said.
