As the search operation was on, police received information about the girl's body from the locals of Ameenpur on Monday evening.

The Commissioner of Police along with his team visited the spot and recovered the body of Chandini which was in a decomposed condition. No injuries were found on the body. The spot where the girl's body was found is an isolated place in the middle of over a hundred acres of deserted land which is being leveled for some industrial use.

The police suspect that the girl could not have traveled all by herself to the place and someone must have took her there, either with her consent or forcibly.
