Girl Gang-Raped After Being Lured to The Eiffel Tower Through Facebook

Paris: The French police have arrested three Algerian teenagers who were fleeing after raping a French girl near the Eiffel tower on Sunday. The victim was reportedly lured by one of them through Facebook, Le Parisien newspaper reported.

The three Algerians, aged 17 and living in Germany had planned to commit the crime in Paris. The victim, a French teenager had met one of the attackers on Facebook and agreed to meet him on Sunday for some ‘coca cola,strawberries and grapes’ at Champ de Mars, a park beneath the famous Eiffel Tower.

The meeting turned out to be a pretext for the crime as the victim was dragged into the bushes, gagged and sexually assaulted by the three men. The victim’s ordeal continued until 5am when two Canadian joggers heard her screams and came to her rescue, even as the men fled.

The police however managed to apprehend the three men as they were fleeing back to Germany.
