Girl Dies As Chunni Gets Stuck In Bike Wheel And Strangulates Her

In a shocking incident, chunni (Dupatta) turned into a noose for an unsuspecting girl. Her chunni got stuck in the rear wheel of the bike she was traveling on and strangulated her to death. The incident occurred in Galijerugulla village of Bestavaripeta mandal of Prakasam district on Wednesday.

The girl, identified as Annapureddy Meghana (13) was pillion riding along with her friend Nagaveni and father Subbaiah to school. Suddenly, her chunni got stuck in the rear wheel and tightened around her neck strangulating her. She fell down and became unconscious. She died while being taken to the hospital. The girl was a student of Class 8.
