GHMC polls schedule out
Hyderabad: Polling for the Greater Hyderabad Muncipal Corporation (GHMC) would be held on February 2. The Telangana State Election Commission today issued the notification for the polls to the civic body.
As per the schedule announced by the Election Commissioner Nagi Reddy, nominations would be accepted from January 12 and January 17 is the last date for making nominations. The scrutiny of nominations would take place on January 18 and January 21 is the last date for withdrawal.
Polling would be held on February 2 from 7 am to 5 pm. Counting of votes will be taken up on February 5.
Repolling, if necessary anywhere, would be held on February 4. The model code of conduct for the GHMC polls came into force from Friday
