GHMC Mayor to quit, will participate in assembly elections

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain is all set to quit his mayor post in a day or two.

Speculations are rife that Hussain is planning to contest on MIM ticket for the upcoming assembly elections, and hence decided to quit the Mayor post. 

Earlier in the day, PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana met MIM chief Akbaruddin Owaisi to discuss on the poll alliance with Congress. 

Akbaruddin reportedly told the PCC chief that he will take final call after discussing with his party leaders.
