Ghazal Srinivas Gets Conditional Bail
Hyderabad: Singer Ghazal Srinivas secured a conditional bail from the Nampally court on Wednesday in connection with sexual harassment case. The court asked Srinivas to furnish a bond of Rs 10,000 and sureties from two persons. The court also directed him to appear before the Punjagutta police twice a week.
The Punjagutta police arrested Ghazal Srinivas on charges of sexual harassment after a colleague at 'Save Temples' organisation, lodged a complaint with the police on January 2.
Cases were also registered against another colleague, Parvathi, for abetting him in the crime. The videos of Ghazal Srinivas too went viral on social media in which Srinivas was seen with two women.
Srinivas earned much acclaim across the country and has got name enlisted in Guinness Book of Record for having sung ghazals in numerous Indian languages.
