Police Close the Gates of Mudragada Padmanabham's House

Kirlampudi: Police on Friday closed the gates of Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham's house.
As soon as the Kapu leader sat for the indefinite fast to include Kapus in the BC list, police officials posted at his house closed the gates. There were tense moments when several of his followers tried to obstruct the police move. The Kapu leader also demanded the police to open the gates. He said the fast will continue till the Kapu demands are met and appealed to his followers not to resort to violence.
Consequently, District Superintendent of Police Ravi Prakash arrived at the scene and reviewed the security measures.
