Garbage container catches fire causing panic among residents

Hyderabad: A garbage container situated near a transformer caught fire creating a few tense moments among the residents in Anand Nagar of Banjara Hills here on Monday afternoon.

Locals immediately alerted the fire services who dispatched a fire tender to bring the fire under control. They said the garbage was filled with garbage which aided the spreading of fire. However, the fire personnel doused the fire while taking care that the fire does not spread towards the transformer. They swiftly doused the fire.

The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.
