Gang war in West Godavari, follower kills gangster

The otherwise calm West Godavari's Dwaraka Tirumala reverberated with gun shots due to internecine gang war on Saturday. A history-sheeter whas shot dead by his follower in Gunnnampalli village in Dwaraka Tirumala mandal.

According to police Paccha Madhu and history-sheeter and his acolyte Kalikrishna consumed liquor and as they became inebrieted, they entered into a heated debate. During the course of the wordy duel Kalikrishna whipped up his gun and shot Madhu to death.
Madhu is accused in the killing of another rowdy-sheeter Paiboyina Ravi four years ago. Ravi was killed when he was attending the court in Eluru in connection with a case. Madhu was an acolyte of Ravi, but turned against him and shot him to death. Four years later, it was a like a replay when Madhu was killed by his follower. The police rushed to the area and are investigating.
