Suriya's latest outing, the dubbed version of Gang has opened to mixed reviews. Recently, Surya celebrated the Pongal festival with his Telugu fans in Rajahmundry during a success meet.
Suriya has endeared himself to the Telugu audiences after his success with the films Ghajini and Singham franchise. Gang held its own against big ticket Tollywood releases, including Pawan's Agnyaathavaasi and Balakrishna's Jai Simha. It has warded off the threat of competition without buckling and has managed to collect a gross amount of 9.2 Cr from the two Telugu states.

Gang is a remake of Bollywood Special 26 and was released in Tamil with Thaana Serndha Kootam. Suryia steals the show with his top-notch performance in the movie. Keerthy Suresh wows the Telugu audiences with her presence as the leading lady in the film. It is worth mentioning here that Keerthy's dream to work with Suriya has finally come true.
