Gandi Babji files case against film 'Nayak'
Controversy and protests are dogging the film 'Nayak'. An former MLA filed a case against the film on Tuesday evening.
Alleging that the villain in the film was named after him, former Congress MLA Gandi Babji lodged the complaint with the Pendurti police in Visakhapatnam. The names of the director, producer and writers figured in the complaint.
Earlier, Telangana Osmania University students’ Joint Action Committee had demanded the government to remove the title of the film - Nayak, saying that the title is an insult to the Scheduled Tribe of the same name.
