Gali’s Daughter’s Wedding To Be An Extravagant, Star Studded Affair

Bengaluru: The wedding of former minister Gali Janardhan Reddy's daughter is once again in the news. It is being reported that the bill for the uber lavish wedding is estimated to be around Rs.500 crore!

Janardhan Reddy's daughter Brahmani is to marry Rajiv Reddy, the son of Hyderabad based industrialist Panyam Vikram Deva Reddy and Rama Devi in Bengaluru on November 16.

Recently the wedding received a lot of publicity over the hi-tech LED wedding invitation cards that the bride's parents sent out to their guests. The LED gadget, estimated to have costed Rs.8000, played a video invitation from the bride's family.

While the nation faces a cash crunch, Gali Janardhan Reddy's alleged spend of Rs.500 crore for his daughter's wedding is causing quite the stir.

The wedding expenditure will include the hiring of Sri Krishnadevaraya's palace for the wedding mandap, engaging temple priests from Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam to solemnize the wedding, reconstruction of Janardhan Reddy's childhood home where the family will traditionally bestow their daughter into the care of her in-laws, besides a line up of Bollywood stars such as Shahrukh Khan, Prabhu Deva and other Tollywood stars to perform in the wedding celebrations.
