Gade writes to Sonia, wants Second SRC, package for Telangana

In a surprise move, a strong supporter of Samaikyandra (united Andhra) has written a letter to the Congress high command on the Telangana issue.

Senior Congress leader from Guntur and former minister Gade Venkat Reddy has written a letter to UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi appealing to her for setting up the second States Reorganisation Commission (SRC) to resolve Telangana issue.

In the letter, he mentioned that if constitution of a second SRC is not possible, the UPA government should go for the  sixth recommendation of the Justice Srikrishna Committee.

It is said that giving several solutions on the contentious issue, he also appealed to her that the Center should announce a special package to address all short comings in economic, political and employment spheres for the development of the region.

As the T-Congress leaders' consultations with the high command continue, Gade's letter (solutions) has gained significance among the leaders.
