Gadde, Harikrishna meet puts TDP in a quandary!
Former MP and TDP in-charge of Vijayawada east constituency Gadde Ramamohan had surprised the TDP circles by meeting NTR’s son disgruntled Harikrishna in the latter’s hotel room in Vijayawada gave room for political speculation on Friday.
Nandamuri Harikrishna, who was up in the arms against his brother-in-law and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu for encouraging his son Lokesh in the party, visited Vijayawada recently. No TDP leader turned up to meet Harikrishna though he was there for two days in a star hotel. However, Gadde Ramamohan called on Harikrishna in his 423 suit at the hotel. He had spent nearly one-and-half hour with him discussing various political developments.
Harikrishna was maintaining a distance with TDP leaders for quite some time and he just showed his face on the first day of just concluded Mahanadu for a few minutes. His son Junior NTR too is following his suit and kept himself away from TDP affairs. His reaction when reporters asked at the NTR ghat when he came to pay his homage to his grandfather NTR on his birth anniversary is that he has not been invited for Mahanadu. It shows the differences between the families of Nara and Nandamuri.
It became a vocal point in the TDP circles over Gadde meeting Harikrishna despite the clarification of the former that his meeting with Harikrishna was formal and there was nothing to hide. Gadde, who was the strong contender of the Vijayawada MP seat, was in distress mood since Chandrababu announced Kesineni Nani as the candidate for Vijayawada MP ticket. His meeting with Harikrishna attained significance in the wake of the recent political developments.
