Muchintal (Rangareddy): Friendly match of Kabaddi led to death of a 13-year-old boy at Muchintal near Shamshabad in Rangareddy district on Wednesday. According to the police, a group of students were playing Kabaddi match in the locality.

Arjun and Mallikarjun, who were playing in opposite teams, entered into an argument over a fault. Both punched each other while his friends did not try to intervene in the fighting. Mallikarjuna suffered a blow on his face and collapsed on to the ground.

Panicked over Mallikarjun's condition, the locals shifted him to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. Mallikarjun was a Class 8 student in the government high school in Muchintal. The body was shifted to Osmania General Hospital for postmortem. A case has been registered and investigation is on.
