Fresh twist to fee reimbursement scheme?

The fate of thousands of students hangs in the balance thanks to the bumbling approach adopted by the Kiran Kumar Reddy government and its utter lack of clarity on  fee reimbursement.

It is being speculated that the government is likely to carry out some amendments to GO 60 which had stipulated Rs. 35,000 as the fees.

The government is likely make only such students eligible for fee reimbursement who clear at half the number of subjects in which they are tested. Further, it is planning an online system for management seats.

Over 570 colleges have submitted their affidavits to the government. admission fees to colleges have been fixed at Rs. 54,200 in 64 colleges while 70 other colleges had not submitted their affidavits.
