Freedom fighter Konda Laxman Bapuji is no more


Konda Laxman Bapuji, a freedom fighter from Andhra Pradesh passed away in his home this morning in Hyderabad.

He was born on September 27, 1915 in Adilibad.
Reports say that Bapuji was being treated for serious illness for quite some time and breathed his last in the wee hours of Friday after he suffered a brain stoke. He was 97 and survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
Bapuji participated in the Quit India Movement along with Mahatma Gandhi. He was also part of all the Telangana movements till now. He was a member of Telangana Sadhana Samithi. He was a minister and resigned in 1969 for the cause of Telangana.
