Four-year-old girl injured after boy hurls chemical substance

A four-year-old girl was injured after a teenaged boy allegedly threw a chemical substance on her in Narayanapet of Mahaboobnagar district today, police said.

The 13-year-old boy, neighbour of the girl, threw the liquid (taken out from a battery) on her when she was playing in front of her house causing injuries on her thighs, they said.

The juvenile threw the suspected chemical substance on the girl over a petty reason, a police officer said based on preliminary investigation.

Narayanapet police registered a case in this regard and were further investigating.
